TFI Local Link bus services connect communities throughout rural Ireland as part of the TFI Public Transport Network. TFI Local Link provides accessible buses on both Regular Rural and Door-to-Door bus services, with 90% of all journeys wheelchair accessible.
Door-to-Door services can be diverted, where possible, to pick up passengers with mobility difficulties at their home. This service must be pre-booked by phone at least 1 day in advance.
Staff are trained to recognise both the JAM (Just A Minute) card for passengers who may need more time whilst on boarding; as well as the “Please Offer Me a Seat” badge & card for passengers with invisible disabilities or other conditions.
In addition, the Free Travel Pass is accepted on board and children under 5 can also travel for free.
