This video showcases the introduction ride, one of the classic road cycling rides used during BAGUET cycling holidays and training camps.


ROUTE DESCRIPTION

Ride into the highest mountains south of Calpe with BAGUET. This A-group route includes the iconic Puerto de Tudons and the Confrides mountain region for a true Costa Blanca challenge.

Starting from Calpe, the route heads south along the coast toward Altea before turning inland toward Finestrat. From there, riders enter the rugged mountain terrain near Relleu, climbing toward Puerto de Tudons, one of the most respected and scenic mountain passes in the region.

Instead of heading directly to Confrides, the A-group continues into an additional loop via Penàguila, adding extra elevation and distance in remote mountain terrain.

This ride emcompasses the following characteristics : full Tudons summit crossing, additional Penàguila mountain extension, high elevation accumulation during long, uninterrupted climbing blocks.

This is one of the most demanding routes in the Calpe programme.
