I tried two popular dishes:

Bak Kut Teh: I found the soup here to be super peppery but unfortunately, the traditional herbal flavor was very weak (or even absent!). I heard from a regular that they might be diluting the soup—let me know in the comments if you've noticed this too!

Yuanyang Wonton Noodles (Boiled & Fried): WOW! 🤩 The big brother did not steer me wrong on this one. The noodles are incredibly chewy (Q), and the flavor is so old school—it instantly brought back childhood memories of eating downstairs from my house! With generous filling and perfect texture, the Wonton Noodles are truly worth it! I strongly recommend everyone to come and try them!
