सुप्रीम कोर्ट में UGC के नए नियमों के खिलाफ दाखिल याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई करते हुए रोक लगा दी. 29 जनवरी 2026 को हुई सुनवाई में CJI सूर्यकांत की बेंच ने फैसला सुनाया और सरकार को नोटिस जारी कर के जवाब मांगा है.
The Supreme Court has stayed the implementation of the new UGC regulations while hearing petitions filed against them. In the hearing held on January 29, 2026, a bench headed by Chief Justice Suryakant delivered the ruling and issued a notice to the government, seeking a response.
