Charging Mode:
Inserting the batteries, then the charger will automatically detect the battery type, along with the battery resistance and input power, to select the best charging current.
You can also manually select the constant current - 3Ax1, 2Ax2, 1Ax4, 0.5Ax8 and 0.25Ax8
Grading Mode:
i.e. capacity test
The CH1 to CH4 bays support this function. The VC8 charger tests the batteries' real capacity by "charging-discharging-charging" the batteries, which can distinguish the performance of the batteries.
Storing Mode:
When the battery is not used for a long time or has a long-distance transportation, use the VC8 charger to recover the battery to its rated voltage. The CH1 to CH4 bays support this function.
When the battery voltage is at its rated voltage, its self-discharge rate is the slowest and most stable. So this function can maximize the battery lifespan and save energy.
