As somebody who's working on cars that sometimes are not operational, pushing one up the driveway, and into the garage, onto the four post car lift can be a bit of a challenge. Installing a Harbor Freight 12,000 lb Badland winch to the floor of my garage made the most sense as a workaround from grabbing neighbors to help me push a dead vehicle up the driveway and into the garage.
At first I was going to attach the winch to my four posts BendPak, but after some reflection that seemed like something that could make the lift unstable due to pressure horizontally, when the lift was designed for vertical pressure.
After doing a little thinking and research, it made the most sense to bolt a hitch receiver to the garage floor, which allows me to attach the winch plate to the floor when necessary, and store out of the way when not in use.
