In Hindu mythology, the Keechaka is a character from the Mahabharata, known for his encounter with Draupadi, the wife of the Pandavas. Keechakavada refers to the episode where Draupadi, disguised as a maid, serves Keechaka while the Pandavas are in exile. When Keechaka attempts to molest Draupadi, she rebukes him, leading to his eventual death at the hands of Bhima, one of the Pandava brothers.
