The structure off the workshop will consist in a 'theoretical' part (where cartoonists talk about the role and impact of political cartoons in the journalistic landscape, show their own work and work from colleagues around the world) followed by a practical part (where workshop participants are challenged to think visually and to create a political cartoon themselves). The approach to the whole workshop will be very interactive and hands-on. Organised in association with Cartoon Movement. In addition to the workshop, Stellina and Tjeerd will also be live-drawing during the festival, giving festival attendants a chance to see how political cartoons are made.
