AARCHIK BANERJEE
is a rising young Tabla player set to make an independent place for himself in the Hindustani classical music fraternity. Aarchik is born to a family flowing with music, son of Tabla maestro Pandit Subhankar Banerjee and vocalist Smt. Nibedita Banerjee.
Aarchik has performed in major concerts and festivals, both in India and abroad, with legendary musicians of our country.

"Mangalacharana” is a charitable organisation to support Artists and needy people, protect and promote various Art Forms through Cultural Exchange programmes and charitable activities.
Since 2014, Mangalacharana has been dedicated to the noble cause of fostering harmony in society through various forms of music
Our holistic approach includes spreading music among differently-abled individuals, economically challenged communities, and talented but needy musically inclined children.
We provide scholarships to help these children pursue and fulfil their musical dreams. Additionally, we offer financial support to musicians who are past their prime and facing difficult situations, as well as to instrument makers who are struggling to make ends meet.
In the unprecedented era of Covid-19, Mangalacharana has extended its support to fellow musicians who were in deep financial crisis due to the prolonged lockdown and uncertain future, as well as to few organizations.
We are doing what we can within our limited capacity and will continue to do so in the future. This is a promise we have made.
Mangalacharana's other main mission is to promote Indian Classical Music among the younger generation. Classical music forms the fundamental structure for developing one's perfect abilities in music across all fields, including instrumental music, vocal music, and dance. Once someone has acquired a strong foundation and perfect knowledge in classical music, they can pursue higher levels of perfection in this genre or transition to other musical styles such as folk songs, modern Bengali songs, Tagore songs, ghazals, qawwalis, pop, jazz, or rock. This solid foundation enables them to present any genre with more depth and in perfect tune.
Each year, Mangalacharana showcases young musicians in their Baithak and Annual Sangeet Sammelan.
