Hello everyone!
In this video we take a walk along one of
the popular shopping streets in the central
area of Frankfurt.
Schillerstrasse is a street located between
Echenheimer Tor and Hauptwache.
It is home to shops, restaurants, cafes, and
a weekly farmers' market on Fridays, which
is a landmark of the area
This street is less busy than Zeil and
Fressgasse.
And this allows customers to shop in a
relaxed environment.
Next to Schillerstrasse is Börsenplatz, home
to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, one of the
world's largest exchanges.
This area is a favorite among city guests and is also popular with locals.
The buildings on Schillerstrasse and
Börnplatz are listed buildings and were built
in 1881
On Börnplatz there is also a sculpture of
the Bull and the Bear, symbolizing the rise
and fall of stock prices, which also attracts
attention.
Tourists love to take pictures next to this
sculpture.
