Patrol opened this a little after 11am, I guess to time with the sun finally melting that side of the Headwall area. I was expecting this to be much harder but it honestly felt easier than neighboring Headwall Face - I guess it's just pretty short and conditions were very forgiving. I'd say this is a good introduction to double black terrain at Palisades, along with the Funnel or Pete's Peril.
Advice: Conditions may vary, but this is pretty similar to Headwall Face minus some rock outcrops to be wary of. You can also traverse further to the left to fully avoid the rocks I passed at the beginning if needed.
