Streets Of Rage X - An Alternative to SOR Remake - Is It Any Good Though? - PC Gameplay Blaze & Max

Описание: Gameplay footage of Streets of Rage X for the PC. SORX is an alternative to Streets of Rage Remake and has rather a lot in common with SORR but then also does its own thing and changes a lot of other stuff up too.

First of all SORX gives you the option to play as almost all of the characters in the game. Whilst this seems like a great idea on paper its a different story once you actually try it and realise how limited in moves everyone else is.

Whilst this IS an interesting idea its not anywhere near as good as SORR giving you the option to play as Ellie, Shiva, Mr.X, Ash or the SOR1 cast with brand new move sets implemented.

SORX also allows you to change which route you take during gameplay (After you complete it once) meaning that if you do level 1 as SOR1 stage 1 then you can change this to SOR3 stage 2 for the next level.

Another thing SORX does is add in a 4 player mode, CPU partner and a few other modes such as survival. SORR did this too but currently X is in Beta mode. So I assume the more will be added with an update.

SORX also adds in the character names of Onihime and Yasha (SOR1 Blaze twins that you fight) which I ended up fighting about 4 times here. They also add in the prototype version of Max from the Beta version of SOR2.
Another interesting addition that X gives you is SUPER moves which can only be used once you gain 3 stars. You have the usual special attacks which we all know about, The SOR3 gained star attacks but with X we have a new SUPER attack to unlock. Axel uses his hidden dragon spin finisher from SOR3, Blaze uses her hidden Super fireball from SOR3 (Also given to SOR2 Blaze) Max has new throw moves etc etc.

HOWEVER is SORX actually worth your time and is it that different or any good compared to SORR? Well....its different. I don't feel that its as polished as SORR but I did enjoy playing this and seeing the various differences that the game had.

One of the biggest features that SORX has over SORR is that X has tried to install SOR4s combo and juggle system. So you can throw enemies and then constantly attack them to keep the combo counter going.

Its different and it feels like its own thing and that its not just copying SORR. If you want to try something different and experience another way to enjoy this franchise then you cant really pass this one up. Especially since its free.
