Step 1: Click on the link below and download El Capitan

Get El Capitan

Step 2: Format your 16 GB USB Drive to Mac OS Extended Journaled

Step 3: Rename your USB drive

Step 4: Copy the code below and paste into notes. Change the “Untiled” in bold below to the name you put for the USB drive.

sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app --nointeraction
