Meet the owner of the Lollipop Shoppe, Elizabeth, as she tells about her rich history within Portland's budding music scene. She speaks on how she climbed the ranks as an important figure in the local music community, gives advice to artists about how to navigate and build a career as a musician in PDX, and shares some of the resources that are available to help artists thrive.
Her venue is home to "The Thesis", an artist showcase with central focus on treating performers well, and helping rappers progress and grow. As a 10 year (plus) staple in the local rap scene The Thesis has become a fan favorite amongst the community, and we hope to see them continue to succeed for many years to come.
