OTC & Prescription Retinoids *Differin (Adapalene) & Tretinoin

I explain what topical retinoids are and what their primary purposes are for those who may be complete skincare novices and aren't sure where to start. It starts with educating yourself on the available treatment options and then making an informed decision. This may or not include a consultation with a healthcare provider such as a board-certified dermatologist (if you opt to go the prescription-strength route). A comparison between prescription-strength retinoids (such as tretinoin) and over-the-counter versions (like adapalene) is useful to help you choose the right product(s) for your goals, skin type, lifestyle, etc. I've also been asked on numerous occasions why I use both tretinoin and adapalene; I address that in this video. One last thing: Never purchase tretinoin (or any prescription drug) online or without a script. It must be obtained at a pharmacy with a doctor's prescription.
