Fantasy Basel, the Swiss Comic Con, is among the largest gatherings of cosplayers in Europe.
In 2025, the attendance grew to 97.000. Many of these visitors come to Messe Basel, the main venue of the event, dressed in outfits that go beyond ordinary.
From the Wonderland's Queen of Hearts via One Piece anime characters to Star Wars stars, this convention accommodates numerous fandoms under one roof.
The party even spills out to the streets, where Messeplatz becomes the most unconventional catwalk in all of Switzerland.
