DIY Railing Remodel. Cut, Weld, Repeat!

Описание: In preparation for our home addition I've been doing a lot of little DIY projects In other words another project that ended up taking a lot longer than expected. Last month was the under the stair storage along with the second bathroom makeover.
This week I'm taking down the ugly wooden railing in the kitchen and making a sweet metal railing which is mostly 3/4" square tubing. Yes another welding video to all those that here to see some metal burn! This project isn't to intensive other than time. It is important to get all your angels just right. As you can imagine the spacing if off then it will stick out like a sore thumb. Another tip, for the amount of steel that you'll be using it is well worth going to a steel yard or steel supplier. Home Depot and Lowes do have the material but they are a lot more expensive than a local supplier. Once there ask them where their surplus section is. My local supplier always have these basic shapes in their surplus section. This being a demo type project you'll need your typical hammer, drill and level. I did use some specialty tools that aren't totally required. For example the nail gun (simple wood screws would do just fine if not better and a drywall cutout tool was nice but your drywall knife will work as well. Lets not forget about all the metal working tools.
