Iranian state media has confirmed that Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed.
This follows deadly strikes launched by the United States and Israel on Tehran yesterday, with Iran later retaliating by striking US bases across the Middle East.
An Israeli official revealed that Khamenei’s body was found after the strike.
Meanwhile, Iran's Revolutionary Guards have vowed to avenge Khamenei’s death, saying it will launch the most ferocious operation in history against Israel and US bases.
