Описание: Saudi Arabia has awarded the position of the contract winner of construction, financing, management, and 25-years operation of the sewage treatment plants namely Madinah-3, Tabuk-2, and Buraydah-2 in Saudia Arabia to the Giant Acciona firm, the great Spanish utility.

The contract handed over to Acciona by the Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) is worth worth a whole billion dollar.

The local partners of the Spanish firm Acciona are Tamasuk and Tawzea. Saudi Arabia Kingdom awarded Acciona the construction and management of the desalination plant of Al Khobar 2, 400 kilometers away from Riyadh, on the east coast of Saudi Arabia, last year. Besides, last year, a 210,000 cubic meters/day Al Khobar 1 desalination plant was also completed by the group which has been offering service to 350,000 inhabitants.
