Описание: Bernard Chevalier, violin. Etude #18 is not particularly difficult and is a VERY nice piece of music. The primary challenges are the trills and to a degree the tight 16th note figures starting at measure 44. Apparently Kreutzer thought that the 3-4 fingered trills were a necessary strengthening exercise. You will note that I avoid this excessive fatiguing by playing with 2-3 fingering except in measure 33 when it's unavoidable. Any questions? Comment below.
