Making a Damascus Knife for PietSmiet Kocht | Part 1: Forging the blade

This is the first of two parts showing how I made the 250 layer damascus kitchen knife for Peter from the YouTuber group PietSmiet. In this video I'm showing you all of the forging process, from a bunch of steel pieces to the damascus blade. The second video will feature all of the rest, from grinding and hardening the knife to making the handle.
I decided to make a voiceover to explain the process but after the second part is uploaded I will also make a single video containing all of the making-process without any commentary.
