Henry interrupted with his boots in his hand. With tears in his eyes, Henry announced his retirement. Cena gave the WWE Title to Henry to hold it for a while, who then handed it back, saying he must earn that. After the retirement speech, Henry put his hands up, and Cena stood in the ring with him. Cena went for a hug, Henry caught him, hit him with the World’s Strongest Slam and told him he has a lot left in the tank. Then he threw the title on Cena. A week later, Cena was talking about what happened, saying that Henry needs something to secure his legacy, referring to his title. Then Cena told him that he forgot to check his calendar, because it’s whoop ass season. Next week, Henry said that they never gave him a legitimate opportunity for the title, saying that he obeyed and did everything they told him, and this never paid off, adding that he deserves to be champion. Later that night, Cena beat Alberto Del Rio in a champion versus champion match. Henry took his title and threw it in front of him. A week later, Cena and Henry had a face off. Cena kept interrupting Henry, who then said that if he does it again, Money in the Bank will come earlier. Cena took off his shirt and was ready for a fight. Henry caught Cena with a cheap shot, who then fought back, went for the AA, Henry fell on him and hit him with the World’s Strongest Slam, standing tall in the end. Then they finally met. Henry went for the World’s Strongest Slam, Cena countered him, caught him with the STF and tapped him out to retain the title and end the feud.
