Описание: This video is an assignment for our Natyashastra course taught by Dr. Pt. Puru Dadheech ji and assigned by Dr. Sandhya Purecha ji at Bharata College of Fine Arts & Culture, Mumbai. In this video assignment, I have described Prakrit Recitation as per the Natyashastra and examined a Manglacharan shloka of Gaha Sattasai from the viewpoint of the Prakrit defined in Natyashastra. There is a Kathak performance on Prakrit towards the end of the video. The angik abhinaya for this Kathak piece was taught to me by my Guru Dr. Pt. Nandkishore Kapote ji and the Music Track & Vocals of Prakrit are by Pt. Sahitya Chaturvedi ji.
