படத்தின் கதாநாயகன், ஒரு சாதாரண பேருந்து நிலையத்தில் வேலை பார்க்கும் நபர். அவனது எளிமையான வாழ்க்கையில் எதிர்பாராத திருப்பங்கள் ஏற்படுகின்றன. காதல், நட்பு, துரோகங்கள் மற்றும் சமூகத்தால் அழுத்தப்படும் நிலைமைகள் – இவையெல்லாம் கதையின் மையக்கருத்தாக அமைந்துள்ளன.

As the title suggests, the movie begins at Sathiram Perunthu Nilaiyam in Tiruchi and revolves around a youth, who has had a bad past. What happens when a girl falls for him forms the crux.

Roshan works in a TASMAC bar at Chathiram bus stand. Dimple, a college-going girl falls for him. But he rejects her proposal. A flashback reveals that Roshan had lost his friend, a Muslim youth who was in love with a Brahmin girl. How Dimple helps him overcome the barrier and wins his heart is what the movie is about.
