DIY massage bar tutorial • great gift idea! all natural easy recipe [craft vlog]

Описание: ☆ mixing it up a bit with a little fun diy gift idea - a soothing massage bar! so what is a massage bar, you ask? it is simply like your regular massage balm but in a more solid form. it has the texture of soap at first touch and the oils are released when the bar melts at the temperature of your skin!

☆ last year, 2020, i made a huge batch of massage balm and gifted it to friends. i didn't film the process then, but after making my first batch i was able to learn a lot and experimented with oils and scents and menthol crystals.

☆ this year i decided to switch it up and make a batch of pocket sized massage bars! after a couple of test batches, this is the final recipe that i was happy with:

70g 35% beeswax
50g 25% coconut oil
50g 25% cocoa butter
30g 15% shea butter
10 drops of peppermint oil
10 drops of lavender oil
2g of menthol crystal

☆ tools + etc.:
12 cavity silicone mold
microwave safe container
microwave
wax paper to wrap
air tight container for storage
