After months of complaining in vain to Verizon Wireless Support that data network performance has been completely unsatisfactory in midtown NYC, here's definitive proof that even Sprint, arguably the lowest ranked of the four major nationwide wireless carriers (according to a Consumer Reports survey released November 17, 2013), is outpacing Verizon using the Ookla Speedtest app on two iPhone devices.
Even with Sprint only able to perform the test on their 3G network (unknown as to why the iPhone can't pick up any of their LTE towers in NYC), they manage to crush Verizon on LTE in the two tests performed here.
If Verizon is "America's most reliable network," then we're all in big trouble, and I want out.
