Life was very different back in 1974. To put things into context, it was the year the first McDonald's opened in the UK, ABBA won Eurovision and Red Rum won the Grand National for the second time.
As we head towards the end of 2024, the ECHO has taken a look back at its archives to share these fantastic photographs from 1974. Courtest of our archives Mirrorpix, take a look at Liverpool in 1974.
The images show everything from people going about their day to day lives to how we shopped, dressed and more. We have previously took a look back at Liverpool in 1984, as well as what the city was like back in 1994.
