The Kingdom of Lesotho, together with the Republic of South Africa have jointly commemorated the 40 years anniversary of the Maseru Massacre.
In a brazen cross border raid conducted by the then apartheid Security Force, 42 people were killed, 30 of them being South Africans and 12 being Basotho nationals.
