Heaton Norris, a great location on the
West Coast Main Line, Where I managed
to Capture a brilliant of mix of
heritage diesel power and
modern High speed passenger trains.
The main Highlight of the Video is the Western Pathfinder Finale Rail Tour,
which was an incredible sight to see passing through the area. The tour is hauled by
Class 52 D1015 Western Champion working in top form and sounding fantastic,
assisted by Class 57 No. 57314 seeing the
Western on the mainline is always something special, and the final tour made it even more memorable.


Alongside the Railtour the video features regular Avanti West Coast services racing through Heaton Norris. These include Class 390 No. 390121 Opportunity as well as Class 390 No. 390136 City Of Coventry Which is My Beast Pendolino and always great to see on the line. The Pendolinos always show off there speed and presence as they through at line speed. Overall, this video offers a great variety of traction, from classic diesel heritage to modern electric multiple units, all captured in one session.
