I have discovered a torus flow structure. I found this while trying to reverse engineer a "natural structure" that is created after a star goes supernova.
The medium you see flowing is air, with vapor being injected to reveal the flow structure.
The structure formed is a torus, seen here is spinning at a fair velocity.
If you position a torus horizontally with top and bottom indicated ~ the flow direction is from the inside of the torus on top and exiting from the bottom. The flow is accelerated by the torus and ejected in a radial flow at the base. The radial expansion seems to shred and eventually convert the water to vapor. My next steps are to find a way to test this with a plasma or charged gas. While researching torus flow I have yet to find any other physical models. This is the only encased "torus flow" I have seen.
