Описание: After a three year hiatus that was only broken by a compilation, Уводь returns not merely enlarged in number but transformed. "Делириум" is their first album in the strictest sense, yet it shows a decisive shedding of skin. Expanding from a duo into a four-piece configuration, the band harnesses a broader instrumental architecture and with it comes a formidable polyphonic madness.

Where the earlier material followed the path of atmospheric black metal, this record hardens into something more orthodox and surely more recognisably aligned with the Slavic black metal tradition. The mist has thinned and the blade is sharpened. The atmospheric passages that once provided a languid spaciousness are curtailed in favour of riffs and a relentless rhythmic drive. Yet this is not regression into a more rigid setting, instead it is the condensation into a more versatile approach. One hears the distant kinship with Walknut, Drudkh or Hate Forest, but "Делириум" internalises that lineage following its own sonic path.

"Делириум" functions as a single descent into psychic decomposition. Its lyrics are visceral as thought becomes vermin, memory a festering trench, the self is reflected in rabid animal hunger, as its delirium is not chaotic but clinical, perhaps as a lucid documentation of mental decay and existential entrapment. Images of bones, graves, roads that conflate life and death and light that rots into darkness recur as variations on a single proposition, that corruption and creation are inseparable states. Birth is already burial and illumination is already putrefaction.

There is a persistent motif of duality as man and beast mirror each other; spirit and flesh fuse into mutual affliction, will and imprisonment intertwine until indistinguishable. Even the notion of transformation is ambivalent where liberation arrives as violent rupture and not through transcendence. The sun itself, which is typically an emblem of clarity, is rendered cadaverous, yet its decay emits a renewed blackened luminosity. In this inversion lies the album’s thesis, what appears as annihilation may conceal genesis, and what glitters as purity may mask rottenness.
