This 3T22 is East Islip FD’s primary siren. Tested everyday except Sunday at noon, and is used for every call. This siren is located at East Islip Fire Headquarters in East Islip, NY on East Main Street.
After 20 years East Islip’s dampers have been repaired and it sounds awesome! The siren was set off in General Cycle (4 rounds of undulating) and Rescue Cycle (2 rounds of Attack) on request by my good friend Lucas for me and my friend Christian. It was set off by the dispatcher and some of our friends at East Islip FD. I haven’t heard this thing in 6 years and it was great to hear it sounding this signal. 2nd 3T22 i’ve heard in Hi-Lo, and this makes 3 3T22s that do perfect sounding Hi-Lo on the island.
