Описание: A soldier was injured during an exchange of fire with terrorists near an Army camp in the Manjakot area of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir early Sunday. According to sources, terrorists opened fire on a sentry post of the Territorial Army in the village of Galuthi around 4 a.m. The soldiers at the post retaliated, leading to a half-hour exchange of fire. The terrorists managed to flee into the nearby forest, prompting a massive search operation to track them down. This attack comes a day after two terror strikes in Kulgam district claimed the lives of two jawans. On Saturday, eight terrorists were killed and two soldiers died in different encounters in the Kulgam district. The encounters took place in Frisal Chinnigam and Modergam areas.
