In today's video, we're back at the K&D Farms homestead, working on our "Farm Phoenix Rising" project! We've been working to resurrect these old grain bins, some of which haven't seen action in over 25 years.
It hasn't been easy—between decades of dust, weevils, and even a bit of raccoon poop, these old bins have seen better days. But with a bit of elbow grease and a $200 Facebook Marketplace motor, we've got the bin sweep and auger running again!
We're clearing out some old oats (where did they even come from?) and getting the infrastructure ready to be productive once more. It's all about frugal farming and making the most of what we have.
