The Lian Li EDGE1000 is a 1000W ATX 3.1 power supply with a unique L-shape form factor and connection interface. This "L-shape" design should assist in cable routing and management for dual chamber cases. The power supply also includes a USB hub to simplify the connection of accessories to the motherboard.

We tested two samples of this power supply and they both failed during testing. The first sample failed during line-in testing at 0°C while the second unit failed during brownout testing at 0°C. These are tests that we really expect power supplies to be able to survive and pass. The brownout test is just repeated shutting down of the power supply and the line-in testing studies a power supply while it is powered with a variety of input voltages and frequencies.

We were unable to complete our suite of testing due to the component failures, the partial test results that we have below are from the first sample that was able to complete some of the 0°C testing. While we'll explore the results below, we do not recommend this power supply as there are other options out there that seem far more reliable.
