Deanna Rodger responds to Creative Health & Wellbeing Day

Описание: Our Creative Health and Wellbeing Day took place on Friday 14th November, dedicated to exploring how creative practice can transform lives and support positive change.

We’ve been delivering targeted support for vulnerable young people for over 20 years, driven by an unshakeable belief in the power of music-making and the importance of working alongside young people to create positive, sustainable changes in their lives and wellbeing.

Much of our work is viewed through a creative health lens, and we are committed to helping young people improve their wellbeing, confidence, and resilience through music.

Deanna Rodger responded to the day with a spoken word summary. Deanna is an international poet, performer and facilitator whose work has featured on BBC1 and BBC Sport, with her version of If read by Serena Williams. She has performed worldwide and been commissioned by Adidas, FIFA and Amnesty International. Her recent collection his fingers have left explores sex and shame. A Clore Fellow and Pervasive Media Studio resident, she blends poetry with creative tech. From London, she lives in Bristol with her husband and three daughters.
