Ok the title is a bit click baitey, but I often run across drummers with no variance in their volume. Everything is loud all of the time and that becomes old, real quick. So the first exercise is just to steady the beat. In effect it is like a metronome as you click the sides of the drum. Then for the rest, watch the damn video😀
