Bootstrap provides 3 form layouts :
Vertical Form(Default) : Labels and Controls are stacked on top of each other.
Inline Form : Labels and Controls are inline, left aligned.
Horizontal Form : Labels are on left and associated form controls are on right.

Standard rules for all 3 form layouts :
Always use form role=“form”.
Wrap labels and form controls in div class=“form-group”.
Add class .form-control to all textual input, textarea and select elements.
