week 16, day 2.
today is an indoor bike session, 1 hour 10 minutes total.
5 minutes warm up, 60 minutes steady in zone 2, and 5 minutes easy spin to finish. nothing fancy, just controlled aerobic work that keeps the engine running while sparing the legs from impact.
this ride is about maintaining endurance after a hard weekend, keeping heart rate stable, and letting the body recover without going completely idle. steady, simple, and consistent.
in this episode, heesley uses the indoor bike as part of his marathon build — staying active, protecting the body, and keeping the routine alive.
