Performance and live visual art work by Kate Wilson in collaboration with Milo Cummins and musician Aoife Hammond. Part of a trilogy, 'Roots in the Sky' is also a stand alone work approx. 20mins in length.
This trans-disciplinary collaboration explores felt connection to land through multiple feedback loops in movement, live drawing, sound and projected image. A part of Wilson’s ongoing practice in embodied approaches to image and movement creation here the artists explore audio/ visual feedback loops and digital delay processes, to uncover a present moment in dialogue with the past, folding back like Michael Serres’s description of nonlinear time 'like kneaded dough'.
