Today I took off in the A320neo from LOWW (Vienna International Airport), experimenting with a brand-new editing technique. I overlaid my POV camera showing sidestick input and throttle quadrant directly on top of the MSFS2020 footage, carefully lining up the PFD and ND in their places. The result is a blended view that, at a quick glance, looks almost like a real cockpit POV recording.
Vienna International is one of Europe’s busiest airports and a gateway to Austria’s cultural capital. Combining the HUD takeoff with this new editing style made the footage feel immersive and authentic, while still showcasing the technical flows of Airbus operations.
