HB Toys Wilderness R1011 (or the R1012, R1013, R1014), the upgraded version of the R1001 Beluga, gets major upgrades for this RC crawler. Maybe a Traxxas TRX4 clone but for the price of the trail truck and the experience with the HB Toys Wilderness Beluga R1001, it is worth the upgrades. We upgrade the motor to a brushless HobbyWing Fusion SE 1800kv, FlashHobby 35KG servo, Treal wheel, Injora Silicone Inserts, and we address the receiver issue by attempting to waterproof it! This truck should now be a Trail Truck Master and very formidable and competent RC rock crawler.
