This journey starts during hunting season and we have deer shoulder to make into ground venison to mix with our garden pumpkin for winter dog food. We also go an a lovely late autumn riverside dog hike in the mountains. The dogs get fed an excellent and healthy meal of ground venison, beef fat, egg and eggshell, pumpkin, and chicken bone broth.

Join us on the beautiful, colorful western slope, Colorado for blacksmith forging tools for open fire cooking family meals and beautiful dog hikes along mountain rivers and meadows of wildflowers. We forage local greens, drink mountain water and make homemeade dog food for our happy dogs.
Growing a garden and creating garden food recipes is one of our favorite things. You'll learn Dutch oven recipes, grilling recipes and fruit and veggie salad recipes.
Our open fire outdoor meals feature fine hand forged tools made in the blacksmith shop along with beautiful hand forged sculptures and techniques teaching you how to blacksmith.
Watch us grow food in our garden on the way to the table. We also visit local farms, farm animals, and gardens.
