As the golden sun rose over the hills of Ondo, church bells rang and drums echoed through the streets. It was Ondo @ 50—a moment not to boast, but to give thanks to God Almighty, and to appreciate the leadership of the Ondo State Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for leading the state well with wisdom, stability, and dedication.
Elders reflected on dusty roads that have become highways, while youths lifted cameras and dreams toward a brighter future. In thanksgiving, prayers rose for peace, progress, and purpose. Farmers, teachers, artisans, leaders, and children stood as one people, grateful for how far the state has come and hopeful for what lies ahead.
Fifty years tell a story of resilience, growth, and faith. This thanksgiving affirms a promise—that Ondo State will continue to move forward, guided by God, strengthened by unity, and sustained by purposeful leadership.
And so, with thankful hearts, Ondo steps into the next chapter—stronger, wiser, and ready.
