At least four people have died after a multi-storey building collapsed near Saket Metro Station in South Delhi, triggering a massive rescue operation that continued for more than 16 hours. Multiple agencies, including the NDRF, Delhi Fire Services, police and civil defence teams, remained at the site through the night to search for survivors trapped beneath the debris.

Officials said more than 10 people were rescued and shifted to nearby hospitals, while authorities continued clearing rubble using heavy machinery. The building reportedly housed coaching centres, cafés, offices and other commercial establishments. Construction work was allegedly underway on the upper floors when the structure collapsed.
