Special Demonstrations ver1.1 #10: Battle Bakraid (Advanced - ciox, Buster Lizard & Flame Viper)

the annotations (which were lost when YouTube removed the Annotations system from their services) are now burned into the video,
the video is now in 1080p 60fps, and
the design of the video layout is now updated to match more recent releases in the series.

These are the Special Demonstrations, a series of high quality replays by some of the best shooting game players out there, donated by the players themselves. As with the past SD releases, the motto is "great players deserve high quality replays", and I hope to continue that with every successive release.

The series is captured by the players themselves, and the raw footage is then processed by myself using Final Cut Pro X, Motion and Compressor into something that hopefully resembles a commercial replay release.

So I remember about this time last year - not long after ciox started posting some ridiculous Advanced Course scores - I sent him a forum PM offering to do a video edit if he managed to bust past 100mil in the game. I don't recall ever getting a reply to that message, however.

Fast forward to last weekend, when out of the blue, he sends me a PM saying that he's managed to do it, not once, but twice, with different ships, and is up for doing a replay. Awesome! After a quick exchange discussing the source material, we set off with the video editing and preparation, and here we are a few days later, with Special Demonstrations 10.

At ciox's request, we've combined both the Buster Lizard and the Flame Viper runs into one longer replay since the runs themselves are pretty short. They're both over 100mil, which is pretty spectacular in itself considering they're the highest scoring replays we now have available for Bakraid, and the only known 100mil+ runs outside of Japan.

Much thanks to ciox for continuing to plug away at Bakraid all these months and surprise me with the replays, and for working closely with me on the edits to ensure quality. Thanks, man!
