Описание: Heading from Los Angeles north to Seattle aboard the (sadly now retired) Pacific Parlour on Amtrak's Coast Starlight in 2013. These ex-Santa Fe hi-level lounge cars were beautifully reappointed for their final act in Amtrak service, running exclusively on the Coast Starlight. Side note: the car makes a cameo at the end of the 2003 version of The Italian Job. Also, the Big Bang Theory episode called The Terminator Decoupling has a humorous reference to the Pacific Parlour car, though the scene was obviously filmed on a stage set. I managed to get this shaky video clip when I opted to try the Parlour's limited, but still good, menu offerings in lieu of dinner in the dining car (which was quite full while the Parlour car was uncharacteristically empty).
