But none of this surprises the Qur’an. In Surah Ar-Rum, Surah Al-Baqarah, Surah Al-Kahf, Surah At-Tawbah, Surah Al-Imran, Surah Al-Anbiya, Surah Al-Hujurat, Surah Ar-Ra’d, Surah Al-Qasas, Surah Al-Hadid, Surah Al-Asr and many others, Allah described patterns that are unfolding right now before our eyes.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also described, in authentic narrations recorded in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, signs of the last era: widespread immorality, competition in tall buildings, years of deception, killing without reason, time feeling compressed, truth ignored, and falsehood amplified.
