In this session, you will learn the software and tools required for Mulesoft setup

Steps in Description
====================
Download Anypoint Studio from below link :: To Develop API's
: https://www.mulesoft.com/lp/dl/studio
: provide your basic details to download studio

You do not need to install this,
Create a folder Softwares in any location (preferred other than C Drive for Windows) Extract the downloaded file to above location
Open extracted files from folder, You will find an Anypoint Studio icon, double click on it.
Create a workspace in your machine location i.e easy to access, it will be used throughout session to create our Projects/API's.


Register For Anypoint Platform account :: To Design and Deploy API's
: https://anypoint.mulesoft.com/home/
: provide your basic details for registration
: This trial account will be for 30 days only,
So, I suggest create account once you need to deploy/design the API.

You can create this account with same EMail more than once, just use different username.

Postman :: To Test API's
: https://www.postman.com/downloads/
Install the downloaded exe/setup file


Download MYSQL DB :: To Store Data/records
: https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/

Download the community server edition compatible with your OS
Extract and Install == Provide root password while installing MYSQL (it is your admin pwd)
Please save the password

Download MYSQL Workbench :: DB Connectivity tool
: https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/workb...
: Download the version compatible with your OS
You can test the connection by using your MYSQL DB created in previous step

host : localhost
port : 3306
db/schema : your db name (you can leave it blank)
username : root
pwd : created for root user in above step

To make sure installation and connection is working.

Download DBeaver Community version : DB Connectivity tool
: https://dbeaver.io/download/
: Download the version compatible with your OS

It is just another tool to connect to Databases, it can be used to connect to different DB providers like MYSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL, DB2.
