This dish is quick enough for a weeknight dinner but bold enough to impress friends and family. Let’s cook!

Ingredients:
1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
4 cups broccoli florets
2 cups mushrooms sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch + 3 tbsp water (slurry)
2 tbsp sesame oil (or neutral oil for searing)
½ cup beef broth (or water)
Optional: sesame seeds + sliced green onion for garnish
Steps:
Slice beef thin against the grain; toss in 1 tbsp soy sauce and cornstarch, let marinate 15 minutes.
Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 1–2 minutes, then shock in ice water. Drain.
Heat oil in a wok or skillet. Sear beef quickly until browned; remove and set aside.
Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
Return beef, add broccoli, then pour in teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and beef broth.
Stir in cornstarch slurry to thicken sauce.
Toss everything together until glossy and coated.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot over steamed rice.
